Sejal Shah, MHA, PT has over 35 years of experience in the healthcare field as both a dynamic leader and a clinician. Over the past 13 years in healthcare management, Sejal has held leadership roles spearheading the launch of Value-Based Care programs for large health systems, building and managing post-acute networks for payment innovation programs, and developing deep expertise in care management and patient flow across the continuum of care.
At a large academic health system, Sejal contributed to the strategic growth and process improvement team, driving enterprise-wide strategic planning, deployment, and change management initiatives. Her successful work in hospital capacity and patient flow management led to a poster presentation at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Additionally, she has led end-to-end payer grant implementations for county-led ambulatory care initiatives.
Throughout her career, Sejal has managed programs at major organizations including UC Davis Health, HCA Healthcare, Loyola University Health System, and NaviHealth (an Optum company). She also serves as a volunteer and board member for nonprofit organizations in the disability services and hospice care sectors.
Sejal holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy with active licenses in Illinois and California, and a Master’s in Health Administration (MHA). She is certified in Prosci Change Management, Value Capture for Operational Excellence, and holds a Board Certification in Case Management (inactive).
